Background Information
Nature photography has always been a hobby and it became my passion after retiring from the software industry. I love the many dimensions of photography, making it a fulfilling activity.
The "next" image at the same location can always be better, either because of a new composition, better (different) light, better technique, etc. I consider photography a journey of learning and am humbled by the many giants in Nature photography I can look up to as an example.
My wife (Annemarie) and I frequently travel the Western United States by car. We find endless natural beauty at the National Parks and places we visit. Our travels provide us with rich photography opportunities and some of our images can be viewed in our galleries.
